Italian donuts

INGREDIENTS:

2 eggs

180ml (3/4 cup) of milk

10g (1 tbsp) of fresh yeast

500g (3 1/3 cups) of flour

60g (1/4 cup) of butter

30g (2 tbsp) of sugar

1 tsp of salt

Oil for frying

Sugar

METHOD:

In a small bowl add the eggs, milk, yeast and combine well.

In another bowl, add flour, butter, sugar, salt and add the previously prepared mixture and mix well with your hands until the mixture is lump-free.

Form the dough into a large ball. Cover the top and let the dough rest for 2 hours, or until doubled size.

Transfer the dough to the workbench and divide it into 9 pieces. Roll out the dough using a hand from top to bottom and create the shape pressing with the hands at the end.

Add the prepared fritters into the pan and transfer to the oven at 30°C/86°F for

1 hour.

Fry the fritters in deep oil until they are golden brown on both sides. After frying, dip them in sugar.

II. Fried donuts with sugar: the easy way to make them fluffy and tasty.

INGREDIENTS:

300g of Manitoba flour

200g of flour 0

200g of lukewarm fresh whole milk

100g of sugar

80g of melted butter, not hot

2 large eggs (about 120g total)

20g of fresh brewer’s yeast

4g of salt

1 sachet of vanillin (0.5g)

Fry oil

METHOD:

1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the milk.

2. Then add the eggs, sugar and vanillin.

3. Then add the flour, salt and melted butter.

4. Mix well until it forms a soft and sticky dough.

5. Let it rise for a couple of hours covered with plastic wrap.

6. Then roll out the dough and form the donuts, let them rise for 90 minutes.

7. Fry them in hot oil and pass them in sugar.
